From the K-1 Mark II in 2018, the Pentax K-3 Mark III is the latest Pentax camera currently owned by Ricoh. This is a new flagship APS-C model that goes beyond the two existing models, and the K-1 Mark II is still the only complete frame solution.
The key is the new 25.7MP CMOS. The new Sensors and Prime are also imaging machines, as well as second-generation accelerators for high-speed playback processing. This allows Pentax to increase the maximum camera sensitivity to an astonishing ISO 1600000. In fact, this means that the camera can shoot in almost any black position while taking smooth and detailed photos. It was also the first Pentax camera to offer 4K video.

The new magnesium alloy frame is thinner and weatherproof than the previous model. There are two SD card slots for storage (one is UHS-II) and the lens mount is compatible with a variety of Pentax lenses (including KA, KAF, KAF2, KAF3 and KAF4) since 1975.
