Sony a1 Manual - Sony is once again breaking into the world of digital photography. Through its latest camera, Alpha 1, Sony raised the standard for full frame mirrorless cameras with a series of new innovations that are increasingly optimal for photos or videos.
Sony Alpha 1 brings all the latest Sony camera technology. The camera comes with a full frame Exmor RS CMOS sensor with a resolution of 50.1 megapixels. The sensor is capable of capturing images with a dynamic range of up to 15 stops and supports ISO settings up to ISO 102,400.

The sensor is also supported by bionz XR processor performance. The BIONZ XR processor is an improved version of BIONZ X. The difference is, the BIONZ XR is faster with eight times faster processing capability than the BIONZ X processor. Fastest among all sony's other full frame mirrorless cameras.
Then what about the video recording capability? Alpha 1 became the first Sony Alpha variant to record video up to 8K 30 fps resolution. In addition, users can also record video at 4K 120 10 bit 4:2:2 and 4K resolution in Super 35 mode.
The video mode also supports the S-Cinetone feature for shooting with more cinematic colors, a 10-bit S-Log3, and a direct 5 axis stabilizer feature on its body to stabilize shooting. Not only that, Sony also added a cooling system that allows the camera to record high-resolution video for longer. Sony Alpha 1 can record at 4K 60p or 8K resolution for 30 minutes. The camera is also capable of exporting 16-bit RAW video via an HDMI port.
Other advanced features can then be found in the viewfinder, shutter system and autofocus. Sony Alpha 1 carries an OLED viewfinder with extremely fast refresh rate capabilities of up to 240fps. For shutter systems, the camera is the first in the world with shutter anti-flicker in mechanical and electronic modes. Meanwhile, alpha 1 autofocus sector has covered 92% of the sensor area with 759 autofocus points. Interestingly, Sony also added dedicated real-time eye-AF support for bird shooting and faster and precise real-time autofocus tracking capabilities.
With all its advanced features, it should not be surprising if Alpha 1 manages to become the most advanced mirrorless camera from Sony. The selling price is also very premium. Sony Alpha 1 will be available on the market in March 2021 for US$6500.
