Panasonic Lumix DC-BGH1 Manual - Video cameras with modular concepts are nothing new. Not wanting to miss out with other manufacturers, Panasonic announced panasonic Lumix DC-BGH1. This is a modular concept video camera with Panasonic's first micro four third sensor.
Panasonic Lumix DC-BGH1 design comes with box form. Similar to a camera with a modular concept in general. So, it can be easily installed various accessories modules. Its lightweight body carries aluminum and magnesium materials.
As a video camera the design is included with an internal cooling system. That way, it can record unlimited video. In addition, the Lumix DC-BGH1 can also be found hot shoes and various connectivity ports such as Ethernet, mic, headphones, HDMI, TC IN/Out, Genlock, SDI OUT, and USB-C. Its complete connectivity port is ideal for camera synchronization in multi-camera setups.
Panasonic Lumix DC-BGH1 specifications are the same as panasonic GH5S mirrorless cameras. It carries a 10.2 megapixel Live MOS sensor and supports the Micro Four Third (MFT) lens ecosystem.
Panasonic Lumix DC-BGH1 can record video up to 4K/60p DCI format 4:2:0 10-bit or DCI/4K 4:2:2 10 bit with All-I compression. Panasonic also complemented it with an updated V-Log L with improvements in the dynamic range of up to 13 stops, and additional HLG modes. It can also record slow motion up to 240fps in Full HD resolution and supports 4K/60p 4:2:2 10-bit DCD output via hdmi port.
For other features, Panasonic Lumix DC-BGH1 has been equipped with Panasonic's flagship DFD (Depth-from-Defocus) autfocus system, supports the use of anamorphic lenses, features two UHS-II SD memory card slots, 2.4 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth and can use batteries from Panasonic's 11,800 mAh camcorder line.
