Interestingly, the same V2048A phone is seen with 8 GB ram and with the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chipset on the Geekbench platform earlier this year, this smartphone was seen on this testing platform, with the Android 11 operating system. Once a leaker is known to say that the next phone from Vivo, the Dimensity 820 chipset, will be named Vivo S7t, it turns out that the model number V2048A belongs to vivo this same smartphone.
The Vivo announced the Vivo S7 5G Snapdragon 765G chipset in August last year. The company announced shortly after the successor to the Dimensity 720 chipset, named Vivo S7e 5G on Nov. Now it all indicates that the company will soon announce the third member of the S7 formation under the name Vivo S7t in China.
In addition to these different chipsets, the new Vivo S7t will be identical to the old Vivo S7 in terms of its design and specifications. So it can be expected to come with a 6.44-inch 2400 × 1080 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of only 60 Hz. powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 820 processor, with 5G support and a 4400mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging and a weight of 171.3g, which is fairly thin and light among 5G phones.
Currently, the Vivo S7 5G is on sale at prices starting at 2,698 Yuan (~$417). No word yet on Vivo S7t price.
