Oppo A55 User Manual - OPPO's mid-range continues to grow, following the A93 presentation a few weeks ago, which we continue to expect to arrive in Spain soon. The manufacturer is now leaving us with the new OPPO A55 5G, another model in its middle class that is already equipped with 5G connectivity as standard.
The new OPPO A55 5G is a model in the chinese manufacturer's simpler middle class, but it already comes with 5G. This makes it a very interesting option, as it is one of the cheapest 5G phones we find in its catalog.

The new OPPO A55 5G is partly reminiscent of the A53 5G presented a few weeks ago, in fact they have some characteristics like most of its cameras and a similar front design. The new smartphone also comes with a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a drop of water-shaped indentation, although in this case it negatively surprises with its HD+ resolution. The fingerprint sensor is located on one side of this device.
The processor of choice in this phone is MediaTek Dimensity 700, one of the Chinese manufacturer's chips that carry 5G to the middle class. Together with processors, we have a unique combination of RAM and storage (6/128 GB). It should be noted that the battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, which gives it good autonomy. Unfortunately, we don't have fast charging, but stick with the standard 5W charge in this case.
As for the camera, it has chosen a configuration very similar to the A53 5G that we saw a few weeks ago. Oppo A55 5G is not very surprising in this field, but it will work fine. We have three cameras on the back : the main sensor is 13 Mpx, the macro is 2 Mpx and the portrait sensor is 2 Mpx. On the front we find one 8 Mpx sensor.
In terms of operating systems, unlike previous models in this range, this phone already comes with Android 11 with Color OS 11.1 as an interface.
Oppo A55 5G has been officially presented in China, where it can be purchased officially. For now there is no data on the launch of this device in markets such as Spain, but we hope to know more about the brand's plans soon, given the growing number of smartphones launched in Spain.
The phone is launched in a unique version of RAM and storage, in blue and black. The selling price in China is 1,599 yuan, about 205 euros at the exchange rate.
