Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G Manual - Samsung's upcoming top models will appear in January 2021. The first rendering image of the S21 series shows that the large camera hump of the S20 Ultra is retained, and even appears larger. Details about the equipment have also been widely leaked.
After Samsung unveiled its top models in the first half of this year between February and March in recent years, rumors suggest that the next generation launch will continue until January. This was reported by leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known as Onleaks, who had reliably launched devices from various smartphone manufacturers before their official presentations over the years with high hit rates. In addition, various leakers have published many specifications that sound authentic.

Hemmerstoffer published many rendering images of the upcoming high-end smartphone from Samsung on the Voice platform in mid-October. The image shows that the Ultra model is once again given a large camera element with four lenses, which appear to be even larger than the Galaxy S20 Ultra (test) and protrude from the edge of the case almost to the center of the device. If you believe Hemmerstoffer, the camera element contains it, according to Leaker Max Weinbachs it seems to have been part of the frame, in addition to a wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lens, two telephoto/periscope lenses. As the 91mobiles blog reported, citing well-known leaker Ishan Agarwal, Samsung will install a 108 megapixel sensor on the top models of 2021, based on the 2020 S20 Ultra 5G, which will be accompanied by 16 and 12 megapixel sensors. . According to Weinbach, it should be a new generation of 108 megapixel sensors. The front will be equipped with a 40 megapixel selfie camera.
On the normal S21 and S21 Plus or S30 - the official name is still unclear - the smaller camera elements consist of only three lenses, each with a 12 megapixel sensor for wide-angle and ultra-wide cameras and a 64 megapixel telephoto lens, the LED flash is in difference with the S21/S30 Ultra located next to it.
The front of the next Ultra model has a new LTPO display slightly curved around its sides, with a diagonal of 6.8 inches and a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits. However, the side is less curved compared to the S20 Ultra. According to Agarwal, the S21 Ultra will have a 2X Dynamic AMOLED that can provide a refresh rate of up to 144 Hertz - Weinbach assumes 120 Hertz. According to Agarwal information, ultra has model number SM-G998U, internally referred to as O3 or P3 (Weinach).
The 120 Hertz display without dynamic adjustment of the refresh rate of the other two S21 models is somewhat flat and provides FHD Plus resolution. According to Onleaks, the regular S21 display has a diagonal of 6.2 inches. Agwarwal doesn't use plus models, but Weinbach talks about a 6.7-inch diagonal display. The Galaxy S20 Plus also has a 6.7-inch display.
According to Hemmerstoffer and Weinbach sources, the Ultra model also received support for the stylus previously reserved for note models. Unlike the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (test) , the S Pen, as Samsung calls its digital pen, is not placed in the smartphone case. It is also unclear whether the pen will be part of the scope of delivery or whether it should be purchased separately.
Hemmerstoffer gave no further details about the equipment, but he mentioned its dimensions: The Ultra model must be 165.1 x 75.6 x 8.9 millimeters. On the hump of the camera, it is 10.8 millimeters thick. The S21/S30 measures 151.7 x 71.2 x 7.9 millimeters and nine millimeters on camera.
Agarwal knows more: According to the leaker, the S21 Ultra will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery - the S20 Ultra 5G also has the same identifying power. Weinbach also mentions the battery capacity for the S21 and S21 Plus: They must be equipped with 4,000 and 4,800 mAh batteries respectively.
Qualcomm's Snapdragon 875 should also be installed as a processor, which is expected in early December. At least Samsung should use those chips in the US and China. In Europe, we can count on Samsung's built-in Exynos 2100 processor, which can beat Qualcomm chips for the first time this year. So far, Samsung's Exynos SoCs (System-on-a-Chip) are considered a worse option. The new Exynos processor is said to be more energy efficient than its predecessor. Both chips appear to have integrated 5G modems. In addition, ultras must be equipped with the new 6E Wi-Fi standard, which, according to Samsung, should be twice as fast as Wi-Fi 6.
Ultra broadband (UWB) support is also available on the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Among other things, it must track Samsung's SmartThings tags that have yet to be announced. The S21 Plus and Ultra should also provide support for digital car keys through UWB.
