Huawei held a conference on Thursday, October 22, 2020 to unveil a new smartphone that is expected to be a flagship product in the chinese manufacturer's lineup. We've introduced you to the Mate 40 Pro in a special article, but two other products have shown the way.
The Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro+ will not be available on the French market for now, but could be a real reference in the field. Note that special attention has been paid to the photo modules of these two smartphones, which were developed in cooperation with Leica.

Mate 40 is the entry level of the trio. The price was originally displayed at 899 € with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Equipped with a 6.5-inch OLED panel and Kirin 9000E processor, Huawei's new SoC is engraved in 5 nm specifically designed for better 5G compatibility.
Three photo modules are mounted on the back: an open 50 Mpx wide angle at f/1.9, an ultra wide angle of 16 Mpx f/2.2 and telephoto lens capture of 8 Mpx f/2.4 Supporting OIS optical image stabilization. Sensor 13 Mpx f / 2.4 placed in front. On the battery side, we use 4200 mAh.
